The Pizza Sessions is a 10-episode miniseries from Table Talk, presented by Banhoek Chilli Oil. It’s a deep dive into Cape Town’s pizza scene—one restaurant at a time.

Each episode, host Russel Wasserfall visits a different pizza spot—from neighbourhood institutions to home-oven experiments—and asks the people behind the dough what makes their pizza theirs.

The format is simple but ruthless: one restaurant, one signature pizza, and one question that every chef has to answer—chilli oil, or no chilli oil? It’s a question that divides tables, starts arguments, and reveals more about a chef’s philosophy than any tasting menu ever could.
